Some hobbies that I want to pursue:

• Computational creativity. Processing is a software sketchbook for generative art. I’ve also been thinking about Csound or SuperCollider for audio synthesis and algorithmic music composition. 3D printing with Bamby Lab AI mini for the digital design of physical objects. Aseprite for pixel art.
• Hiking. Washington has many scenic trails, and many are right around Issaquah. I’d like to start by exploring more of Traditional Lake Loop. Then scale up to urban exploration.
• Piano. I used to play clarinet and piano, but it has been many years. I moved a Yahama YDP-142 keyboard into my office room, and maybe I can learn to play A Whole New World again under the endless diamond sky.
• Tabletop and board games. Go (囲碁), Magic the Gathering, and Dungeons & Dragons should all make an appearance this year, offering a mix of strategic thinking, storytelling, and connection.

Self-improvement activities:

• Fitness. I began strength training. I moved the exercise bike to a more convenient place to use again.
• Neurodiversity. Discover and evaluate strategies to improve my productivity at work and be more present at home.
